Payments

The Machine took my money

Using the Card Reader

Before you can use the machine at the coin laundry, you must insert the $1 or $2 or use the Card Reader to pay for the machine. The Card Reader must say 'Thank you.' for your transaction to work. Be sure to follow the instructions in the store. If the Card Reader does not say thank you, your payment has not been processed. In case you see a charge on your statement for an extra payment related to a cancelled transaction, this is typically a pending transaction from your bank, which should clear from your transaction history the following business day.

The Card Reader is solely a payment device; remember, the more you pay, the more the card reader will process payments. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the surcharge charged by the card reader provider. If you need assistance, please contact us by phone as soon as possible and provide details about which laundromat you are at, along with the machine number. Our same-day service team will be ready to assist you to ensure you have the best experience possible. If you’re new to coin laundry and want to know how to use the machine effectively, keep in mind that the machine will not take your money unless you continue to pay. Should you encounter any issues, please refer to the instructions available in the Store or on the machine control panel.

After you have paid for the selected machine, you need to use the machine control panel to understand coin laundry how to use it properly. The Card Reader is only a payment device. Ensure the doors are closed, and the machine will perform checks before it can start. For detailed instructions, refer to the operating institutions in the Store.

Once you have paid using the Card Reader on a dryer, your credits can take 10-20 seconds to be applied to the dryer controller. If you try to rush this process, all your credits may not be applied, and you will need to press the start button on the dryer you selected to use them. For anyone learning coin laundry how to use the machines effectively, it's important to note that if someone else uses another dryer from the same card reader before you utilize your credits, they will consume your credits. Pay attention and take your time to ensure your credits have been applied correctly.

Once you have made a payment, wait 10seconds for the Card Reader to say, “Thank You.” The payment credits then get transferred to the control panel. Select the Temperature and press Start. Ensure the Door is closed, or the machine will not start. Paying multiple times does not start the machine. Refer to the Washer Screen or instructions on what to do after payment.

Press the Emergency Stop Button Straight Away even if it's not your items. A leak is generally caused by washing being stuck in the door seal. After the Emergency Stop Button has been pressed the machine will pump out the water. Once it stops then the screen will say "open door" you can then fix the washing up and the press Start. Note that you can only do this once during a cycle or the washer will reset.
